TIME.com gets an Android app

After releasing its app for the iPhone , iPad and BlackBerry – TIME.com is going for the Android smartphone users. Since Google’s mobile platform is more open than BlackBerry OS and iOS, this version also allows users to put pieces of the TIME.com content on their phone’s homescreen using a small or large widget and eventually have quick access to the content section they [users] care the most.
