Google cooking up another Nexus One 3G fix?

Looks like the last OTA update for the Nexus One seemed to be focused primarily on features, rather than fixes. The update that enabled multi-touch in the Browser, Gallery, and Maps applications also promised to fix the 3G problems that had been plaguing Nexus One users since the launch of the device. Now that the update has reached the majority of Nexus One users, it seems the problems still persist. But, there’s still hope. Google ( NSDQ: GOOG ) may be working on a fix to the Nexus One’s 3G issues. Apparently, there is a newer ROM floating around the XDA forums, which some have said that has improved their 3G connectivity, amongst other things.
